Psychiatric
Evaluations
(Adults & Children Ages 8+)
A psychiatric evaluation is the first step toward understanding your mental health and creating a personalized treatment plan. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, our goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free environment where you feel heard and understood.
During your evaluation, your provider will take time to discuss your current concerns, symptoms, medical history, mental health history, family history, medications, lifestyle, and any factors that may be affecting your emotional well-being. For children and adolescents, parents or guardians are encouraged to participate in portions of the evaluation to provide additional insight and support.
Following a thorough assessment, your provider will discuss their clinical impressions, answer your questions, and, if appropriate, provide a diagnosis and recommendations. These may include medication management, therapy, lifestyle modifications, additional testing, or referrals to other specialists.
Our evaluations are designed to be collaborative, respectful, and individualized. We believe the best treatment plans are created through partnership, ensuring you leave with a clear understanding of the next steps and a path forward that fits your unique needs.
